Small to Biiigggg!

I have performed the wedding ceremony for a couple dressed in shorts and T-shirt for $45, to a B-52 Rock Band Wedding in the Hardrock Hotel with 5000 screaming fans, on location for a movie and everything in between.

Credentials: Experience that come from service. A little bio…

A. I attended Southern California Bible College and Ordained. Went to W. Africa and was a missionary evangelist in Nigeria and Liberia. Returned to the States and had a pastorate of 5 churches about 5 years each. In between a National Evangelist for 3 years and booked 3 years in advance.

B. After pastoring in Las Vegas for 3 years I became acquainted with weddings, quite by accident. After 2 years of part time weddings, I resigned the church and began performing wedding ceremonies full time. I discovered I really loved being with the couple/family and being part of that wedding experience.

C. I performed weddings in every venue imaginable. Places like Red Rock Nat’l Park, Grand Canyon, Harley Davidson Café, Madam Tussaud’s, "Star Trek" aboard the Enterprise; on boats, Parks, Parking Lots, Community Centers, Country Clubs, Auditoriums, Churches, and all the major Wedding Chapels. And, I performed the world’s first "Hot Tub" wedding in a Limousine which was featured in the National Enquirer. The couple was from Canada and though it so cool and unique. (Imagine feeling "cool" in a hot-tub…ha!) (Visit the "Portfolio Page")

D. Well, Steve Wynn began his thing with a new vision for raising Vegas to another level. Amazingly, which he did. At the same time, I was very unhappy with the way couples were treated in the Vegas wedding chapels and the wedding experience in general was a sham.

E. So, in 1995 I designed and built "A Special Memory Wedding Chapel" at 4th St. and Gass. The 1st month we did 126 weddings and by 2005 we were doing about 830 weddings a month. (Go on line & look at it…it’s still there) Mine was a Cape Cod architecture, authentic, family oriented, traditional, Tux & Gown, wedding chapel with prayer and a strong dress & maintenance code. The chapel grew to three companies, "A Special Memory Flower & Gift Shoppe" and "A Limousine Company." The chapel also included "The Royal Chapel" "Gazebo Weddings" "Drive-up Weddings," "Military Weddings" and "WTG’s (Weddings To Go) in which a minister was on call to perform a wedding off premises. I had 6 ministers on staff, 1 fluent in Spanish, 1 fluent in French, 1 fluent in German, 1 fluent in Japanese. I had 35 employees in 7 departments. My Company lived by the principle of excellence, value and service. So much so that I received an award from the Governor for my contribution to tourism in Nevada and recognition for my contribution to integrity in the business community in Clark County by Mayor Oscar Goodman.

F. In 2005 I sold the Company(s) and moved to Mesa, AZ. After a year, I really missed working with the wedding couples and being involved with the wedding experience. Thought about moving back to Vegas. Made several trips and realized that I was living on that "acre of diamonds." (No pun intended…it’s a booklet title). I attended the Bridal Shows, met a lot of people and visited different venues. I believe I have something to offer the couples in our communities who what to be married. Basically, I firmly believe that the wedding experience should be all and perhaps even more, than the couple want it to be. Getting married doesn’t need to cost an arm & a leg (however, if you have an extra arm & leg…that’s OK) to be wonderful and momentous. It’s a people thing and we can make it great where ever we are, no matter what our budget. So……here we are, building this website to let you know how to contact me. I will bring to your venue all this practical knowledge and conviction of tradition to make your wedding experience the best that it can be. Thank you and be blessed!
